The general construction industry’s only accurate and comprehensive metric estimating database is available from Database Solutions, Inc. Designed exclusively for general contractors the database makes it easy for the contractor to produce estimates for projects of all sizes. The database works within the Sage/Timberline Estimating environment and is available to work with Sage Timberline Estimating extended version. Using this database, you will be able to do fast takeoff to produce detailed professional estimates.

The Database Includes:

  • More than 11,000 items.

  • More than 990 phases.

  • More than 1900 formulas.

  • More than 360 assemblies.

  • CSI 2004 Division 1 through 48 embedded WBS codes

  • Alternate sorting between CSI 1995 1 — 16 and CSI 2004 1-48

  • Budget line items and assemblies.

  • All materials items referenced to bill of material codes.

Assemblies The General Contractor Database offers assemblies for effectively any type of construction activity you will encounter allowing complete and accurate takeoff. The assemblies offer fast takeoff with a minimal number of variables to answer. All assemblies are compatible for use with digital 2-D and 3-D electronic takeoff methods. There are assemblies for both budget and detailed takeoff.
Additional phases, items, and assemblies may be added by the user at any time in this database.

Database Additions and Modifications Database Solutions offers expert consultation with each contractor to modify the database to their specific needs. Common modifications or additions include Job Cost System set up, additional contractor specific WBS codes and new contractor specific database section or assemblies. Additionally, classroom or on site, training is offered by Database Solutions.
